The wine bar bistro 1855 is steeped in history. Its name refers to the year wine was first classified. Its founders have a true passion for the subject, which is built on incredible knowledge and understanding. And it is this spirit that the brand sought to share with its customers.
The brand’s identity was created which comprised of multiple elements, from logotype, illustration and signage to printed point-of-sale items and a fully responsive website.
Befitting of the brand’s historical nature, the interior of the wine bar’s first location in a 200-year-old listed building in Oxford was also designed alongside. Materials were carefully chosen and treated to create a unique atmosphere that worked in harmony with the existing building.
